Imran Khan holds Punjab govt responsible for spurious drug deaths

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that he met  Baloch leaders, including Akhtar Mengal in Dubai to discuss situation in Balochistan who are in self exile in different countries.

Talking to media at the Lahore airport on Saturday he said his party had prepared a package aimed at resolving the problems being faced by the people of Balochistan.

He said that Balochistan issue was very serious but no heed was paid towards the matter.

Answering a question regarding PTI’s alliance with the MQM, Khan said that he was ready to make alliance if the MQM renounced politics of arms.

The cricketer-turned politician said Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari didn’t want that a third force carried out accountability in the country.

Imran Khan held Punjab government responsible for the deaths of people in Lahore due to spurious drugs. He added that the Punjab government had failed on every front.
