Dubai: Third test match between Pakistan and England now equally poised after great performance by the bowlers of both Pakistan and England and took 16 wickets in the first day of the third test match at Dubai Sports here on Friday.
In the first innings Pakistan batting line-up completely collapsed and all team was out only on 99-runs. Only Asad Shafiq was the batsman who batted responsibly and supported the national team with his 45-runs.
But England batsmen also failed against the strong Pakistan bowling attack and lost their six important wickets on just 104-runs and gained a lead of just five runs.
Spinner Abdur Rehman was picked of the bowler and took three crucial wickets, while fast-bowler Umar Gul dented the England batting with early two wickets. Saeed Ajmal also took one wicket.
