India register first win against Australia in second T20

Melbourne: India has finally registered a first win in the current series against Australia and succeeded to draw a Twenty 20 series with the help of complete team fighting.

Indian bowlers and fielders restricted the hosts to only 131-runs with their far better performance with comparison to test series.

Aaron Finch and Mathew Wade was the highest scorer for Australia who scored 36 and 32, respectively.

Spinner Rahul Sharma and Praveen Kumar took two wickets each and helped India.. Meanwhile, three crucial run outs also played a vital role to stop the hosts in a small score.

While chasing the target, Indian batsmen started their innings very aggressively and given no chance to the Aussies bowlers and chased the small target in last over with eight wickets in hand.

Opener Gautam Gambhir completed his half-century and made unbeaten 56-runs. While Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also chipped in with 23, 31 and 21, respectively.

Young Ravindra Jadeja was named Man of the Match due to his outstanding fielding and economical bowling spell.
