Peshawar: Taliban said on Wednesday that they have no plans to hold talks with Afghan president Hamid Karzai in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, reports said Hamid Karzai plans to hold talks in Saudi Arabia between his government and the Taliban, opening another channel to the insurgents .

According to reports, the meeting between Afghan government officials and the insurgent movement was to  take  place in the coming weeks.
