Karachi: A major fire erupted in a lint godown in Korangi here on Thursday.

According to reports, the intensity of fire have been declared third grade which has overwhelmed the entire godown.

The firemen were struggling to extinguish the blaze that has spread to several area of the godown.

Fire tenders were dispatched to the site immediately and the fire just kept growing in intensity and they requested more tenders to help put it out.

A snorkel and multiple large water tankers were dispatched.

The firefighters found it difficult to extinguish the blaze because they couldn’t find a way into the factory.
