Moving SC on memogate right decision: Imran Khan

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said taking the memogate issue to the Supreme Court of Pakistan was a right decision as it was the nation’s good luck that it has an independent Supreme Court.

Talking to media here on Friday, the PTI chief said that the memo issue was a sensitive matter and it should be thoroughly investigated. Khan said that the nation has a lot of hopes in the apex court and it would decide the issue accordingly.

He said that the court had recovered looted money during NICL and Haj corruption cases.

Replying a query, Khan said that the PTI would not accept any system other than democracy in the country.

Imran Khan said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi was appointed as vice chairman keeping in view his vast experience. He said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi was not involved in any corruption case.
