Los Angeles: British actor Christian Bale has said that that “The Dark Knight Rises” is going to be his final performance as Batman.

He said this while during an interview in Beverely Hills that, “Everything’s finished. It’s me and Chris that will be the end of that Batman era”.

The 37-year-old actor finished shooting “The Dark Knight Rises” few days ago, and it is Bale’s third stint as Batman after “Batman Begins” (2005) and “The Dark Knight” (2008). It is set for release in July.

It is not the first time that Bale has talked of ending his run as the superhero. He told E! News in November one year ago that “unless Chris says different, this will be the last time I’m playing Batman.”
