Bal Thackeray threatens Pakistan cricket team

Mumbai: A Hindu radical group Shiv Sena’s leader Bal Thackeray on Thursday threatened Pakistan cricket team saying if the team qualifies for the World Cup, he will decide rather or not Pakistani cricket team will play in the final.

The final of Cricket World Cup 2011 is scheduled for Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 02, 2011.

The extremist group had threatened Pakistan Cricket team, back in 1999 during the Pakistan-India test series they not only threatened the Pakistani Cricket team, but also dug up a pitch Feroze Shah Kotla ground in Delhi in an effort to prevent the test match to happen.

In 2005 again Bal Thackeray and his group threatened and tried to stop the International one day series between Pakistan and India.
